CRS score Prediction for 2021
Predicting the next CRS score cut-off is a bit of a difficult task, especially given the previous express draw, the minimum CRS score required for a PR visa is higher. The CRS score cut-off of each express draw held is affected by two main factors:
- About the time interval between two consecutive express draws: This proves that if the time interval between two consecutive express drawings exceeds the two-week average, the CRS score cut-off always increases. Having a long time interval allows the express pool to be replenished from more efficient and skilled express entry candidates. Again when the time interval is less than two weeks, the CRS score cut-off decreases.
- Express Draw Size: The lowest required CRS score also depends on the size of the express draw. If the number of ITAs issued is larger than the average size of the draw, it will reduce the CRS score cut-off.
As of August 4, 2020, the following table shows the candidates appearing in the express pool respective to the CRS score range:

However, CRS score cut-offs are likely to come down to meet the immigration target of more immigrants under the Canadian government’s three-year immigration plan (2019, 2020 and 2021). Under a three-year immigration plan, the Government of Canada seeks to increase the admission rate of skilled immigrants through its various immigration departments and keeps coming. The following table up holds the plan-based admissions targets through the Economic Immigration Departments according to the 2019-2021 immigration levels:

To meet the goals of the three-year immigration plan, the IRCC will have to hold express draws at higher frequencies or draw larger expresses, which could reduce the minimum CRS score required for a Canada PR visa.
